Letter: Tax Collector Laudonia Has Improved Customer Service, Cut Operating Costs

It is a pleasure to express my support of Tod Laudonia for re-election as Greenwich's Tax Collector.  In his four years on the job, we have seen improvements in customer service and lower office operating costs.  Additionally, in 2014 he will launch new user-friendly software for the collection process.

But the question I keep asking is, "If you aren't trained, how can you expect to do a job well?" Tod has taken courses to be named a Certified Connecticut Municipal Collector, a level of training no previous Greenwich Tax Collector holds. So with this educational bonus and a record of higher than 99% collection rate, Greenwich can't go wrong.
