GREENWICH CT – Ed Katz, founder of Katnip Marketing of Westport (www.KatnipMarketing.com) will address the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Westchester Fairfield Chapter's Peer Group meeting Friday, November 30, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich at Winfield’s Restaurant, Noon to 1:45 PM.

     -- How to get great results with a small budget.
     -- How to dislodge an account from a larger agency.
     -- How to refocus a difficult client to make it better, even award-winning.
     -- How to win awards.
     -- How the best way to help a client beat a tough opponent may be to embarrass them in a humorous, very public way.
     -- Plus, he will answer your specific questions and issues.


     As a PRSA Peer Group attendee, you benefit as you network, discuss
business-building issues, create alliances, share services, find opportunities, and solve problems.
     Peer Group is for Chapter Members however non-members may attend two peer meetings (and an unlimited number of all other Chapter functions), to decide whether they want to join PRSA. Pay only for the lunch you order off the menu and contribute $5 to the Chapter.

About The Westchester/Fairfield Chapter of PRSA


The chapter was established in 1965 and serves more than 100 members throughout Westchester and its surrounding counties in New York, and Fairfield County in Connecticut. We're also the parent chapter for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.


We offer professional development and networking opportunities through programs with respected public relations professionals as speakers, "Meet the Media" panels, workshops, access to free PRSA National webinars, social events and our popular Peer Group get-togethers for Agency/Solo Practitioner, Corporate and Non-Profit communicators. About Ed Katz   


Mr. Katz, a Westport resident for over 20 years, runs Katnip Marketing- a marketing, media and communications firm he founded in 2008. He excels in achieving results for clients as diverse as Fortune 500 corporations and regional retailers to local professional service firms and tiny not-for-profits in all phases of marketing, branding, advertising, media, communications, public relations and public affairs.


He was also founding principal at one of Connecticut’s largest full-service advertising and public relations agencies, Cashman +Katz, forming it in 1992, where he supervised his agency’s biggest clients including the CT Lottery, Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino, Nationwide Insurance, Pfizer, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Center for Disease Control (CDC), the New England Patriots, Lake Compounce Amusement Park, CT Dept. of Motor Vehicles, CT Dept. of Public Health, The Hartford Courant, TheaterWorks, Ski Sundown and the National Kidney Foundation.
