Growing Older - Challenges and Opportunities

 "Invisible Conversations" between generations will be the topic of discussion at the Women's Gathering at Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, on Friday, January 25. So often, we don't have the conversations we need to have with those who matter most to us. The absence causes a disconnect with our loved ones. Talking with adult children, parents, spouses and partners about our choices is essential as we age. How do we want to live and how do we want to die? What documents do we need to have in place to ensure our choices are upheld? How do we clean up unfinished business; deal with grief and illness; meet the challenges of giving and receiving care? The Reverend Shannon White and Jane Adams will be the facilitators for this forum. There will be chili supper at 6:30 PM and the discussion will start at 7:30. Suggested donation $15.
