Oct. 7-13, 2013 is YMCA’s Arts Week and the YMCA of Greenwich
invites your family to come and enjoy a week filled with arts activities that
will educate, inspire and connect youth. Arts Week, held in conjunction
with National Arts and Humanities Month in October, is an annual celebration at
Ys nationwide that spotlights the nonprofit’s commitment to arts programming,
ensuring youth have an outlet to express themselves creatively and discover new talents. These programs are open to all in the community. Activities scheduled for the week include:
Tuesday, October 8th
Parent and Child Yoga with Kathy C: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Wednesday, October 9th
Old Greenwich Music School “Sing, Play and Move” Class: 4pm
Thursday, October 10th
YMCA T-Shirt Making with Girl Scouts: 5:00-pm- 6:00pm
Friday, October 11th- Family Fun Night
Greenwich Dance Team Workshop: 7pm-8pm
Family Zumba: 8pm-9pm
