Great Chefs

Celebrity chef and former Greenwich resident Alessandro Stratta will be honored at the 27th annual Great Chefs culinary event on Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich to benefit the wellness programs offered by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital.

Guests will enjoy an evening of signature dishes and wine from more than 60 of the finest restaurants, catering companies and wine distributors in Fairfield and Westchester counties. The festivities include wine tasting, a silent auction and dancing from 6:30 p.m to 11:30 p.m.

Chef Stratta - who spent his high school years in Greenwich - recently opened a new restaurant in Manhattan. The award-winning chef is known for his Las Vegas restaurants and appearances on Iron Chef USA and Bravo's Top Chef Masters.
