Birth Announcement - It's Greenwich Girl!!!!

The avenue is bustling as I sit at a bistro table on the patio of Mediterraneo; happily sipping San Pellegrino (with lemon), observing impatient potential diners sigh as they are told the time for outdoor seating has now jumped from a ten to a twenty minute wait. I wanted to take a moment on this marvelous holiday of celebrating our boy Christopher's finding of North America to announce the birth of Greenwich Girl. Now, I'm going to make this brief, because it is my day off too, but at 125 lbs (we can all dream, stay with me people)  and 5 foot 9 inches tall, the healthy birth of the latest hot spot promises nothing short of complete coverage through the lens of a Greenwich Girl.  So, visit your local Starbucks, grab a caramel macchiato (whip or no whip), tap into some free wi-fi and check it out. From lattes to champagne, Greenwich Girl will do her best to deliver all observations, thoughts, miscellanous, and unsolicited opinions (grammatical and spelling errors included) on anything and everything noteworthy in (or out of) this little gem of a town that we are lucky enough to call home. Okay, that's all for now. Thanks for taking a minute away from the tennis matches and bloody's (as in Mary's.) Oh and PS: sidenote to the brave adventure seekers among us who yearn for one last summer day at Tod's point: if you think going today is a good idea, think again. Apparently so do the other 66,999 people who make up the population of our beloved town-bumper to bumper ranges and trio's of beautiful soccer moms in matching lululemon yoga pants are taking up half of the entire road that circumfrences our treasured Tod's making it near impossible to make it around the 3 mile loop in less than an hour - doesn't exactly make for a 'relaxing' holiday stroll.  Yours truly, LIVE from Greenwich, CT. xx Greenwich Girl.
