A great tip for Mac users of any experience level is to take advantage of the built-in tutorials located in the settings where you select what features you want to turn on or off for your track pad.
If you go to “System Preferences” either from your dock at the bottom of your computer or from the black Apple logo on the top left of your screen, you can select the trackpad icon and see the various options. As you put your mouse over each option and leave it on the option for a few seconds with out clicking, the tutorial window on the right side will begin to display the physical motions you would perform to use the track pad feature.
