Catherine T. Mazzari, 95; Volunteered for Many Greenwich Organizations

Catherine Theresa Mazzari, a longtime volunteer for several Greenwich organizations, passed away of natural causes at her Greenwich home on Nov. 27, 2013. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Romeo and Julia Cusati, she was born June 22, 1918 in New York, NY.
Mrs. Mazzari was a Greenwich resident since 1960. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a volunteer for many years at Greenwich Hospital. She also volunteered at Greenwich Woods Health Care Center and for the American Red Cross. She was a former member of the Greenwich Women's Club.
She is survived by her son Richard, of Greenwich, daughter Diane Clarke, of Los Gatos, California, and granddaughter Catherine Pace (Richard), also of Los Gatos, California.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Richard Mazzari, in 2001.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Wednesday, December 4, at Putnam Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ASPCA at aspca.org.
Arrangements are being handled by Castiglione Funeral Home.
