Damiano P. Faretta, a Greenwich resident, passed away Aug. 21, 2013. He was 51.
Born Feb. 23, 1962 in Ripacanida, Italy to the late Donato and Anna Faretta.
After coming to the United States in 1971 from Italy, Damiano graduated from Greenwich High and went on to work at Volvo as an auto tech.

Damiano is survived by his brothers Tony Faretta (Nancy) and Michael Faretta (Jorene); nieces Francesca, Sarena, and Marissa, and a nephew Donny.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.
