Dr. Clinton G. Weiman, 88; Retired CitiBank Medical Officer

Dr. Clinton G. Weiman, died at his home in Greenwich After a long illness on Jan. 7, 2014. He was 88.

He was the son of the Lewis and Angela George Weiman.

Dr. Weiman graduated from Princeton University and Cornell Medical School. Initially he practiced medicine in New York City and then became a senior vice president for medical affairs at CitiBank, from which he retired. Citi was one of the first corporations to assign senior rank to a physician. While at Citi, he began an electronic medical record system in 1982 for 14,000 employees enabling him and his staff to give more effective care.

Dr. Weiman is survived by his wife, Susan Schneider Weiman; five children, Patrice, Timothy, Peter, Ellen and John; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends and family may call at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St., Greenwich, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, prior to the Mass at St. Michael's Church, 469 North St., Greenwich, at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
