Nicolo 'Nick' Mauro, 64; Butcher at Tarry Market
The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 30.
Nicolo (Nick) Mauro of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2014 at the age of 64.
Born in Naples, Italy on April 22, 1950. He came to America with his family at the age of 12.
Along with his wife Linda they owned and operated Sausage Emporium for over 15 years. Nick continued to work as a butcher and was currently working at Tarry Market and Palmers Market. He was a hard worker and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his wife Linda he is survived by his daughters, Danielle Ardito (Joseph), Natasha Mahabir (Richard), Nicole Ehret (Thomas); eight grandchildren, Matthew, Cienna, and Joseph Ardito, Madison and Nicholas Mahabir, Dylan, Hunter, and Bailey Ehret. He also is survived by his sister Fran and brother-in-law Michael Fariello and nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. 95 Henry St., Greenwich.
Arrangements are by the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich.
