Letter: Floren's 'Commitment to Greenwich and CT Are Remarkable'

Livvy’ Floren’s experience speaks for itself: a six-term Representative, past member of the BET and the RTM as well as an advisor to countless local boards and commissions. Livvy enjoys broad-based support in her district and her level of commitment to Greenwich and CT are remarkable.

The Conservation Commission, on which I serve, relies heavily upon Livvy’s knowledge, counts on her voice in Hartford and knows that it can trust Livvy to always advocate for the environment. Livvy has a remarkable ability to get things done. I’ve watched her work to save over 100 thousand acres of open space in CT, to preserve the historic character of our community, and to stand up for children, the elderly and everyone in between. It is no surprise that the League of Voters recognized Livvy with a perfect score.

On a personal note, I most appreciate Livvy’s sincerity, dedication to her job and the countless ways she inspires others to do the same. Livvy listens with interest, speaks with experience, maintains grace under pressure and has a proven record of achievement balanced by fiscal responsibility.
