What do you love to do with your children? How old are they? And what is your greatest wish for them?
I love to put on great dance music and dance with them. My husband and I are big music lovers and the kids have definitely inherited that trait. I have a 6 year-old girl, a 4 year-old boy and a 2 year-old boy. I hope that one day they have kids and a family like ours. I couldn’t ask for funnier, cooler kids. They would be people that, as adults, I would want to hang out with.
When and where are you the happiest?
I am happiest when I am doing something that I love to do and that gives me purpose. And this includes everything from working with my great patients or helping my daughter construct a project for school.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Back to Cartagena, Colombia where my husband and I just spent an amazing week vacation over the holiday break.
What quality do you most admire in a mother? And what woman has had the biggest impression on you?
I most admire mothers who are honest, strong and hard-working. I can’t think of a better example to give to your children. And of course, my best model in this regard is my mother. I have always been able to go to her with the good and the bad and she handles it all with assurance and empathy. She always makes me feel better and safe.
What is your favorite book?
That’s a tough one because there are so many classics that I love. However, To Kill a Mockingbird always resonates with me.
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
My three children, by far.
What do you feel is your strongest talent?
I think I have a lot of drive and enthusiasm for life.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to go dancing, attend concerts, and go to dinner with friends.
What is your favorite time of the day and why?
I like the time of day about 8:30 pm when the kids are in bed and my husband and I have a few minutes to regroup before bedtime.
Where is your favorite place to Party with Moms and what do you like to drink?
I love to go to new restaurants in the city (Carbone is one I really like) and meet up with girlfriends for dinner and drinks and lots and lots of laughs. Girls’ nights always re-energize me for the week.
