2 Greenwich Residents Face Probation of Violation Charges


Two Greenwich residents were arrested over the weekend on a charge of violation of probation.

According to Greenwich Police reports, the arrests stem from two unrelated incidents.

Keith V. Batts, 36, of 27 Wilbur Peck Ct., was arrested at his home on Jan. 25. The charge stems from a domestic violence incident dating back to Nov. 18, 2012, according to the report. Batts was held in lieu of $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Robert Harmonay, 53, of 75 Oak Ridge St., was arrested at his home on Jan. 25 for violation of probation, based on a warrant obtained by the Danbury Police Department. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 11 in state Superior Court in Danbury.

The reports did not contain details of the original incidents that led to either man's arrest.
