2 Men Face Burglary, Credit Card Theft Charges


A pair of men are facing numerous burglary, credit card and identity theft charges stemming from an incident earlier this year, according to Greenwich Police.

The men arrested May 20 and charged with five counts of third-degree burglary, one count each of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft and identity theft, according to a police report. The incident on Hidden Brook Road in the Riverside neighborhood of town, was reported March 22, according to the report.

The suspects were identified as Jason C. Rivera, 24, and Jonathan Mendez, 23, both of the Bronx, NY. 

Both suspects were held in lieu of $50,000 bond each. They're scheduled to appear May 28 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The report did not provide details surrounding the charges.
