71-year-old Woman Faces Shoplifting Charge from Saks

Allegedly took gloves, hosiery from the upscale boutique.

A 71-year-old New Hampshire woman was arrested by Greenwich Police Saturday afternoon on a charge she shoplifted between $500 and $1,000 worth of gloves and hosiery from .

According to a report, Maryanne Zurn of Salisbury, NH, was arrested at 5 p.m. on Jan. 7 on a fifth-degree larceny charge. "Store security saw her secreting gloves and hosiery into a store bag and exit the store without paying," according to the report.

Zurn was unable to post $500 bond. She is scheduled to appear Jan. 18 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Vinci Drive resident was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge Suinday night following an incident in his home.

Adrian Pera, 51, who gave an address of 75 Vinci Dr., is accused of throwing a vacuum cleaner at the victim and overturning dryer machine during a dispute around 10:30 p.m., Jan. 8.

He was released after posting a $500 bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 9 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Cos Cob woman has been arrested on a second-degree failure to appear in court charge.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Ashley-Lynn Pedrosa-Ferrara, 22, who gave an address of 9 Walnut St., was arrested after she surrendered to police about 6 p.m., Jan. 6. The charge stems from an arrest warrant obtained by Stamford Police.

She was released after posting $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 13 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
