Arrest Made in Riverside Pharmacy Theft

Suspect surrenders; faces new charge of stealing dental products from Riverside pharmacy.

A suspect in the theft of nearly $2,500 in dental hygiene products from two Riverside pharmacies has been arrested again by Greenwich Police.

Joseph A. Warner, 20, who gave an address of 11 Spice Bush Ln., Milford, surrendered to Monday afternoon to police who obtained an arrest warrant charging him with fourth-degree larceny in connection with the Nov. 1 theft at Walgreens.

Shortly after 11 a.m. Nov. 1, Warner was seen entering the Walgreens pharmacy, 1333 E. Putnam Ave., where he "filled two baskets with 26 boxes of Crest White Strips and a Sonic Care Flex Power tooth brush. He then walks out with(out) paying for the items and flees."

At the time, Greenwich in the Walgreens theft and a similar incident moments earlier at the CVS in Riverside.

According to a police report, Warner is accused of entering the CVS Pharmacy, 1239 E. Putnam Ave., at 10:59 a.m. and was "observed casing the aisle where the dental products are kept. Warner then exits the store. Warner immediately returns with two hand-held shopping baskets and walks directly to the dental product aisle. The suspect then fills the baskets with 16 dental care products and runs out of the store." on a fourth-degree larceny charge for the CVS theft.

Warner was arrested in Westport on Nov. 3 in connection with a similar theft in that town, according to Greenwich Police.

Warner was released on a written promise to appear Jan. 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
