Bikes Stolen; Vandalism on Rainbow Drive

A bicycle left locked on a Greenwich train station bike rack was reported stolen when the owner returned to retrieve about 3 p.m Aug. 18, according to Greenwich Police.

On Aug. 19, a Halsey Drive resident reported that a mountain bike worth about $150 was stolen from their driveway, where it had been left overnight, according to Lt. Robert Berry.

Vandals targeted a home on Rainbow Drive where a mailbox and a front door window were spray-painted. A screw also was used to puncture a tire of a car parked outside the home, Berry said. The damage was reported shortly after 4 p.m. Aug. 19.
