UPDATE: Lane Reopened After Car Carrier Fire on I-95 in Greenwich

The scene of the car carrier brake fire has been cleared on I-95 southbound, between Exits 4 and 3.

The Greenwich Fire Department is on the scene of a reported brake fire on a car carrier that has stopped on the shoulder of southbound I-95, between exits 4 and 3.

Greenwich fire trucks are blocking one lane of traffic. Connecticut Department of Transportation traffic cameras show that southbound traffic is heavy from Exit 5 south. And northbound traffic is congested in the area as well.

No injuries have been reported.
