Custody Dispute Results in Greenwich DWI Arrest

Greenwich Police arrested a woman on a driving while intoxicated charge by officers investigating a report of a custody dispute outside the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.

According to a police report, when officers arrived at the hotel at 1800 E. Putnam Ave. about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18, they found a woman sitting in her vehicle with the motor running. When they spoke to her, they smelled alcohol on her breath and administered field sobriety tests which she failed, according to the report.

Elizabeth B. Quinn, 48, of 325 Riversville Rd., Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating without a license, according to the report.

Quinn was released after posting a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear Feb. 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The police report did not include details on the original dispute that prompted the call to police.
