Dress Stolen from Greenwich Avenue Shop

Greenwich Police are investigating the theft of a dress valued at $395 from the Great Stuff boutique on Greenwich Avenue.

The theft was reported about 3:20 p.m. Saturday. According to police, store employees did not see anyone acting suspiciously in the store located at 321 Greenwich Ave.

A Greenwich woman and a New Jersey man were arrested on charges of creating a public disturbance following an argument early Sunday morning.

According to a police report, the argument took place on Soundview Drive about 1:40 a.m. Sunday which resulted in planters being knocked over including one which landed in the road.

The suspects, identified as Kathleen E. Lavery, 24, of 22 Alden Rd., Greenwich, and Lucas B. Renick, 25, of Jersey City. They were released on promises to appear Aug. 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
