Family Argument Leads to Assault, Risk of Injury Charges

Greenwich Police say a struggle over the property followed an argument with family members.


A woman who Greenwich Police say argued with family members of property at an Old Field Point Road home is facing multiple assault and risk of injury to a minor charges.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the officers investigating the April 19 incident found that the suspect had a argument over unspecified property and that a struggle over the property led to the assault of two family members who received minor injuries.

Police charged Nayeli E. Cebanos, 25, of 9 Webber Dr., Port Chester, NY, on three counts each of third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor. She also was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

According to the CT Judicial Branch website, Cebanos had an initial court appearance April 21 and is now scheduled to return June 3 to state Superior Court in Stamford. She was released after posting $5,000 bond.
