Man caught at club with teen girls and beer; drivers cited.

An employee of the Greenwich Skating Club faces burglary and providing alcohol to a minor charges after Greenwich Police say he and a friend were found inside the building without permission and with a case of beer and three 18-year-old girls.

According to a police report, Miles J. Sy, 23, who gave an address of 1 Kellogg St., Norwalk, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. March 31 after police were summmoned to the club on Cardinal Road. Police had been informed by club caretakers on March 28 that they found evidence someone had entered the building overnight.

Several police units were dispatched to the club on March 31 and they found Sy who told them he was a club employee who had a key to and permission to enter the club "any time he wanted," according to a report. A club manager told officer Sy was not authorized to enter the building after hours or to have a key.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, interfering with an officer and three counts of providing alcohol to a minor. He was released after posting $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 9 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

2 Drivers Cited for Evading Responsibility

Drivers were arrested by Greenwich Police for evading responsibility in connection with 2 separate crashes over the weekend.

Police say they found an unoccupied car that apparently was involved in a crash in front of 124 Ritch Ave. about 5:30 a.m. March 31. After investigating, police arrested Sandra B. Olivera, 47, who gave an address of 45 Wilbur Peck Ct., Greenwich, with evading responsibility and unsafe movement, according to a report. She was released after posting $200 bond and scheduled to appear April 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

In the second incident, police say they arrested Ann M. Blinkhorn, 52, who gave an address of 26 Grant Ave., Old Greenwich, in connection with a crash on Delavan Avenue at Chestnut Street. She is accused of leaving the scene and faces charges of evading responsibility, failure to signal and distracted driving. She was released after posting $250 bond and scheduled to appear April 12 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Neither police report indicated whether anyone was injured in the two crashes.
