Greenwich Resident Is Charged After Argument



An argument that Greenwich Police say became physical ended when a man was arrested on  a variety of charges.

According to a police report, Freddy Tacuri, 35, of 158 Henry St., Greenwich, was arrested just before 8 p.m. June 25, after what police said was verbal argument that turn physical.

Tacuri is accuse of striking the victim and throwing her cell phone against a wall as she tried to call 911 for help.

Tacuri was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with a 911 call. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear June 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
