Greenwich Teen Is Charged with Bike Theft



A Greenwich teen is facing a fourth-degree larceny charge in connection with the theft of a bicycle.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Taiel D. Gookool, 18, of 56 Prospect St., was arrested on Sept. 13. Police were summoned to his home about 4:25 p.m. after the stolen bicycle was found at the residence. The bike was reported stolen on Sept. 7.

Gookool's bond was set at $250. He was scheduled to appear Sept. 20 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
