Man Faces Charge He Used Fake Painkiller Prescription

Greenwich PD: Suspect is accused of using a forged script to get painkillers at a Riverside pharmacy.

 

A 25-year-old man is facing charges he used what Greenwich Police determined was a forged prescription to obtain the painkiller Oxycodone.

According to a police report, Jessie Roman, 25, of 1366 Lyman Pl., Bronx, NY, was arrested about 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 9 at the Walgreens pharmacy on East Putnam Avenue in Riverside.

Roman was charged with second-degree forgery criminal attempt at possession of narcotics and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, according to the report.

Roman posted a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Feb. 18 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
