Man Faces Charge in Inappropriate Touching Case


Greenwich Police say a Wisconsin man is in custody after a Greenwich parent reported that their daughter was inappropriately touched by a house guest.

According to a police report, the parent reported the incident Aug. 5 as did the Department of Children and Families. "The investigation alleges that Luis L. Solorzano had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under 16 years of age," according to the report. The incident occurred in a private residence, according to the report.

Solorzano, 18, of Fitchburg, WI, was charged with risk of injury to a minor. The report did not indicate when the incident occurred or the age of the victim.

He was held in lieu of $20,000 bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 12 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Police said the incident is still under investigation.
