Man Faces Charges for Greenwich Burglary

Greenwich police make arrests for burglary and in domestic violence incident.

A 19-year-old Greenwich man surrendered to Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant charging him with burglary and larceny charges.

According to a police report, Robert Wolterstorff, who gave an address of 54 Old Stone Bridge Rd., surrendered at police headquarters about 2 p.m. Feb. 9. He was charged with loitering on school grounds, criminal trespass, third-degree larceny and third-degree burglary in connection with a Jan. 10 incident on Hillside Road.

Police did not provide details of the incident. Wolterstorff was released after posting $3,000 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 15 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A West Church Street man was under arrest Feb. 9 following a domestic violence incident in which a woman was struck in the head.

Police said the man, identified as Christian J. Rivera, 31, of 19 W. Church St., was picked up where he worked by Stamford Police who transferred custody to Greenwich Police. Rivera was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, criminal violation of a protective order and third-degree assault. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and was to appear Feb. 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Police did not provide details on the woman's injuries or whether she required medical treatment.
