Man Faces DWI Charge

Greenwich resident surrenders on charges stemming from car crash.

 

A 57-year-old backcountry Greenwich resident faces charges including driving while intoxicated in connection with a car crash last November.

Mario J. Paulo, of 367 Round Hill Rd., surrendered March 18 to Greenwich Police who had obtained an arrest warrant in connection with a Nov. 22, 2012 one-car crash on Round Hill Road, according to a Greenwich Police report.

Paulo also was charged with unsafe movement and failure to wear a seatbelt, according to the report. Further details on the crash were not provided in the report.

Paulo was released after posting $250 bond and was scheduled to appear March 25 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
