According to authorities, an "offline search" by police at the DMV led them to the only vehicle in all of Fairfield County matching the description of the fleeing vehicle—and could have been the only car to have left the grill behind police found at the scene.

A Stamford man who allegedly led police on a brief chase before causing minor injuries to two officers was arrested on multiple charges, including driving while intoxication. He smiled for the camera at the station.

Apparently angry that his McDonald's order had been messed up, a Fairfield man allegedly tossed his unwanted food through the drive-thru window at the fast food chain's Black Rock Turnpike location, striking the restaurant manager in the chest. The man was promptly arrested.
