Riverside Woman Arrested for DUI After Colliding WIth Stone Wall

Madeleine Andrews, 22, was arrested after she reportedly collided with a stone wall while driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

 

A 22 year-old Greenwich woman was arrested on Tuesday after the car she was driving reportedly collided with a stone wall, according to police.

Officers arrived at 40 Valleywood Road after a report that a vehicle driven by Madeleine Andrews, 22, of 14 Cary Road, hit the wall, police said. After observing Andrews, the officers said that she had glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol. According to the report, Andrews failed the sobriety tests that the officers administered.

Andrews was arrested and charged with operation of a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey a control signal and restricted turns while failing to signal. She posted a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 1.
