School Ground Bully Busted for Loitering

A 15-year-old town teen, who Greenwich Police say had been warned several times to stay away from Western Middle School, was arrested on a loitering on school grounds charge Monday afternoon.

According to a police report, the unidentified teen is not a student at the school and had been warned by school official not to visit the campus on Western Junior Highway. "Complaints have been made to the staff of the school from students that (the suspect) has been bullying and otherwise harassing them when school is letting out," police wrote in the report.

The suspect admitted to ignoring school officials' orders to stay away from the school. He was released on a promised to appear May 31 in the Juvenile Matters division of state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Trumbull man was arrested Tuesday night by Greenwich Police on three counts of failure to appear in court related to three separate criminal cases.

Sean D. Fitzgerald, 33, of 487 Dayton Rd., Trumbull, was charged in connection with failing to appear in court for a Feb. 28 arrest on  operating under suspension; failing to appear in court for a Dec. 13 arrest on operating under suspension, and failing to appear in court for a third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Fitzgerald was released after posting a total of $6,000 on the charges and scheduled to appear May 20 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Kristopher N. Pradia, 26, of 522 Hamilton Ave., was arrested on third-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges stemming from domestic violence incident Monday morning.

Pradia is accused of being involved in a verbal altercation with a woman at his address which became physical, causing a minor injury to the woman's nose. He was released on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear Wednesday in state Superior Court in Stamford.
