Greenwich Police roundup includes: Man charged with trying to steal bottle of perfume.
A White Plains, NY man trying to leave the Richard's of Greenwich store was arrested on a criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny charge after he was accused of trying to leave the store with a bottle of perfume.
According to a Greenwich Police report, Paul D. Andrews, 54, who gave an address of 30 Walton Ave., White Plains, was arrested following the 3:54 p.m. incident on April 23. Andrews was observed attempting to leave the store with the bottle of perfume—valued at $120—that he placed in a pocket, according to the report.
Andrews was released on a written promise to appear April 30 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Wilbur Peck Court fight leads to arrest

A 17-year-old town teen was arrested following an altercation in an apartment of the Wilbur Peck Court apartment complex on Davis Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. April 23.
The teen, who was not identified because of his age, is accused of kicking a front door and "screaming obscenities and yelling outside the victim's door," according to the police report. The teen was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief. He was held in lieu of unspecified bond and scheduled to appear May 2 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
'Violent encounter' leads to teen arrest
Greenwich Police say they arrested an 18-year-old town man after they were summoned to a Harold Avenue residence for a "violent encounter" at 8:50 a.m. April 23.
Police found a lamp had been smashed on a floor and a door had been forced open, according to a police report. They arrested David R. Giacomora, 18, who gave an address of 31 Harold Ave., Greenwich, on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Giacomora was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 24 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
Jewelry stolen from Taconic Road home
Greenwich Police are investigating the burglary of a home in the 300 block of Taconic Road reported just before midnight April 20.
According to police, the sliding door to a bedroom was forced open. Jewelry worth more than $10,000 was reported missing.
