Stamford Man Gets Early Morning DUI

According to Greenwich Police, an officer on patrol southbound on Stanwich Road observed the vehicle swerving in its lane at about 2:23 a.m.

Justin J. Currytto, 21, of Stamford was reportedly arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an early morning motor vehicle stop on Sunday, Aug. 12.

According to Greenwich Police, an officer on patrol southbound on Stanwich Road observed Currytto's vehicle swerving in its lane at about 2:23 a.m. After stopping the vehicle near Fairfield Road the officer reportedly detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Currytto.

Currytto was given field sobriety test, which he reportedly failed. He was also charged with failure to stay in proper lane. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.
