One commuter got off the train in the Cos Cob station Monday afternoon to find the trip home would be even longer.
According to Greenwich Police, the victim reported at 5:11 p.m. Aug. 13 that someone stole a bike tire from the bicycle left they had left locked on a bike rack earlier in the day.
An entire bike was reported stolen from the Armstrong Court housing complex on Hamilton Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 13.
Police said an electric meter was reported stolen from a Round Hill Road construction site about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13.
And police haven't determined yet whether that theft is related to the report of electrical equipment having been stolen from a home on Byfield Lane about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 13.
