Town Woman Faces Credit Card Theft Charges

Greenwich PD: Suspect surrendered after police obtained an arrest warrant.

 

Greenwich Police arrested a 45-year-old town resident on illegal use of a credit card and credit card theft charges.

According to a police report, Gloria A. Ruiz of 38 Wilbur Peck Court, surrendered to police on Feb. 15. She is charged with 11 counts of illegal use of a credit card and one count of credit card theft in connection with an incident reported to police on Christmas Eve 2012. Details of the reported theft were not included in the report.

Ruiz was released on a $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 22 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
