Foley Says He May Run Again For Governor

The Greenwich businessman and former U.S. ambassador to Ireland under President George W. Bush lost the governor's race by 6,404 votes to Dan Malloy in the 2010 election.

businessman Tom Foley hinted in a recent interview that he might run a second time for governor of the State of Connecticut.

Foley, a Republican, narrowly lost his bid for the governor's chair to former Stamford Mayor Dannel P. Malloy, a Democrat, in the 2010 election.

In a recent interview on WFSB-TV's "Face the State," Foley said Malloy and the Democratic-controlled legislature have so far failed to accelerate job growth, while at the same time rapidly increasing taxes.
