Greenwich Ave. Site Next Door to Where Graham Elliott Will Open Restaurant Is Sold

Greenwich real estate sales as recorded in the Greenwich Tax Assessor's Office from Nov. 14 through Nov. 18, 2013.


The lot next door to the lower Greenwich Avenue building where celebrity chef Graham Elliot is scheduled to open Primary Food & Drink has been sold.

According to Greenwich real estate transfers and sales recorded in the Tax Assessor's Office, 415-417 Greenwich Ave. has been sold by The Robert Dietrich Family Limited Partnership to 415 GA Acquisition LLC for $4,650,000. The new multi-story building is to house penthouse apartments on the top floor with retail space, according to a real estate agent representing the property.

"We have retail as well as fabulous penthouse apartments with rooftopterraces available for lease. Construction willcommence on this great corner property in early 2014," said Marshall Heaven of M.H. Heaven Real Estate which is representing the property.

Elliott is scheduled to open Primary on Friday, Dec. 6, according to a spokesman for the property. The site, located near the corner of Greenwich and Railroad Avenues, was the former home to the popular Thataway Cafe. 

According to eater.com, "Primary will serve contemporary American seasonal cuisine in a refined yet casual atmosphere, featuring locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. The menu will showcase Elliot's creative spins on well-known classics like Caesar salad, pot roast, beef stroganoff and buffalo chicken."

In addition to that sale, there were plenty of home sales in multi-million range.
