Hilfiger Estate for Sale ... on Nantucket

The Greenwich resident has put her Nantucket vacation home on the market for $27 million.

The Nantucket estate bought by fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his then-wife Susie is on the market with Susie asking $27 million for the mansion that has sweeping ocean views.

According to capecodcurbed.com, the Hilfigers paid $4.6 million for the home in 1996—four years before they divorced in 2000, after 20 years of marriage. Both continue to maintain homes in Greenwich.

The mansion "Point of View" has 10 bedrooms, eight baths and 180-degree views over Nantucket Harbor, Jetties and Nantucket Sound is situated on an acre. It's also the second-highest property for sale on the island, according to a report in the Cape Cod Times.

After the couple purchased the home, Nantucket locals reportedly praised them for restoring the shingle style home rather than following the tear-down trend.

In 1997, Susie Hilfiger purchased a children’s boutique on Greenwich Avenue and renamed it Best & Co. and expanded the company to create a flagship store selling children’s clothing and home accessories. After expanding the store with a boutique in Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, she sold the company to FAO Schwarz/DE Shaw in 2007.
