Greenwich High School Graduates 674

Brilliant blue skies and a gentle breeze presided over the 144th commencement at Greenwich High School Friday evening.

Six hundred seventy-four students received their diplomas June 21 at Cardinal Stadium. But before they did they heard valedictorian Victoria Hoffmeister and guest speaker--ESPN sportscaster and former Greenwich resident Chris Berman offer advice. (Please see video.)

"Reach for the sky," Berman said. And when Board of Education Chair Leslie Moriarty pronounced them graduates, the students aimed for the azure blue sky with their mortarboards.
