is pleased to announce that it has entered into a long-term agreement with the Connecticut Yankees AAA Youth Hockey Club. As part of the agreement Chelsea Piers Connecticut will serve as the year-round ice rink and training center for the Connecticut Yankees.

As part of the announcement, the Connecticut Yankees will also expand the boys and girls AAA program from a spring/summer program to a year-round program. The Connecticut Yankees will field Elite AAA teams at all levels. The Yankees plan to host showcase tournaments throughout the year at Chelsea Piers Connecticut, bringing in AAA teams from all over North America.

"The CT Yankees organization is very excited about this opportunity and partnership with Chelsea Piers. This is a dream come true for the CT Yankees Organization,” commented Bob Crawford, President of the Connecticut Yankees.

“The players will have the opportunity at Chelsea Piers Connecticut to train in a facility that will be the best in the country. This will give players the opportunities to improve their skills both on and off the ice. The CT Yankees Program has always stressed individual skill development for all of its players. "

In addition to the anchor relationship with the Connecticut Yankees organization, Chelsea Piers Connecticut has also signed an agreement with the Skyliners, the premier synchronized skating program in the northeast.

"We are absolutely delighted with the quality of every team, organization and club that will be skating at Chelsea Piers Connecticut.
