Time is ticking away for duffers looking to get in one last round of golf at The Griffith E. Harris Golf Course.

The 18-hole, par 71 town-owned golf course on King Street, known as “The Griff,” will close for the season at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.

Golfers may want to head to the course today as Mother Nature doesn't appear as though she will cooperate with golf-friendly weather for the remainder of the week, according to the National Weather Service forecast. There's fog and rain predicted for Thursday and closing day on Friday.
