United Way and Community Answers merge

The United Way and Community Answers have merged! Community Answers (a United Way-Junior League of Greenwich collaboration), opened in 1969 at Greenwich Library. It provides all manner of local information and referral services both by phone and in person, and via its website. The United Way is the largest local non-governmental source of funding for health and human service programs.  Its studies and planning efforts have been catalysts for the creation of much needed programs or services for the past 80 years. United Way Needs Assessments repeatedly identify the need for improved communication about programs and services and knowing first hand what issues matter most to Greenwich residents. This merger will enhance the United Way's ability to document local needs and develop effective solutions for the whole community.
