Story Barn Workshop with Bonnie Levison

Standup comedienne Bonnie Levison will lead a storytelling workshop culminating in a "Story Barn" performance, entitled Mixed Bag, at the Greenwich Historical Society on February 1, 2013. Participants in the three-session workshop will learn to develop and craft their personal tales.

The first session will focus on the principles of storytelling and individual idea development; the second session will look at developing the arc of the story; the third will consist of fine tuning the story and developing its presentation. There will be an optional fourth session to prepare for the performance. Whether you want to become more relaxed speaking in front of a crowd, be the life of the party or aspire to follow in the footsteps of Jerry Seinfeld, this is a fun way to learn to spin a good yarn and hone your public speaking skills.
